An introduction to a beautiful and undiscovered region of Southern Greece now slowly opening up due to new motorways, what used to take 8 hours drive from Athens now takes just over 3, the area is also accessible from airports in Kalamata and Kithira. In Laconia you will find a magical mix of deserted beaches, crystal clear sea, olive covered hills and the magnificent snow capped Taygetos mountains. It is totally peaceful, very safe and we have a wonderful climate, 300 days of sunshine a year ( summer medium temp 30/ winter medium temp 15 ) really a perfect choice for a lifestyle change.

   Becoming increasingly renowned for its wine production, the area also produces the very finest of extra virgin olive oils. There are classical and Byzantine monuments to visit and numerous sign posted walks allow you to discover this lovely region by foot.
