Three story renovated house in historic the  castle of Monemvasia. This house is situated in a peaceful part of the Kastro but is only a minutes walk from the cafes and restaurants. It is also a quick walk to the tunnel which leads down to the sea for swimming.  A terrace on the top floor  has beautiful views over the sea, strict building regulations mean this house can never be built in front of.

   There are a limited number of houses in this historic site as only preexisting houses or ruins  can be renovated, all building materials must be carried in and out by horse and mule, and all buildings renovated according to specifications of archaeological society. So this can be quite costly but any property in this area is of great investment.

 The Kastro of Monemvasia dates back to Minoan times, has been the seat of a number of Byzantine rulers and variously ruled by Normans, Venetians and Turks, all adding a incredible favour to this walled city that time forgot. There are many stylish bars and interesting restaurants and shops in the main entrance thoroughfare, but it also a place a complete peace.
